Also some have specific roles and designations. (Castro, 2017). It was Zoroastrianism who provided the first system of faith that introduced angels in the manner in which we believe in them today. Then Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite of the fifth century AD suggested the angel realm was divided into nine hierarchical ranks. It was the Italian Dominican friar and priest Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) who classified the angels into three broad spheres, also referred to as hierarchies or triads. Within each sphere are three angelic choirs, also referred to as orders of angels, resulting in nine choirs altogether. It is this hierarchical structure that we still use today. According to their placement on this hierarchy, those angels above have more power than those further down. The angels at the top are close...

The Wolf Moon is the name given to the first full moon of the year , typically occurring in January . The name originates from Native American and early Colonial traditions, where full moons were named to reflect the seasonal rhythms of nature and survival. The term “Wolf Moon” comes from the time when wolves were most often heard howling outside villages in the deep heart of winter, a haunting sound that echoed the stillness and desolation of the cold, dark season. While the literal howling of wolves may have signified hunger or territorial communication, in spiritual and symbolic terms, the Wolf Moon carries profound meaning . It embodies themes of instinct, survival, inner strength, spiritual guardianship, and deep intuition . It is a powerful lunar moment that begins the spiritual journey of the year, asking us to listen more closely to our inner voi...

What is the Meaning of Spiritual Trust?

To follow your true path, you must trust. But this can be confused with testing.  In a previous blog, I explained that time is not constant. That you have no power over the flow of time. When you are doing something worthy, trust that you will have enough time. But do not put this to the test.  For example, if you are completing a project, know that you will complete it in time. But do not assume that you will. If you relax and trust then the project will follow it's path within your life. It maybe that you do not complete it in time. Then you can know that it was not meant to be finished at this point.  If you deliberately get up late for work, but decide to trust the higher power to make sure you get to work on time, then you will fail, because this is not trust, this is test. You are testing G...

An infinite path maybe represented by the infinity sign:  ∞ and to tread this shape would be endless. You are asked to tread the true path towards enlightenment. So what is enlightenment? Enlightenment is knowledge of all things; when that which we do not currently understand becomes revealed. However, paradoxically, we are not capable of understanding all things in our human state. As we tread our path, our eyes must be open and our minds must be free. Our spirits must be calm and our hearts must be both giving and accepting to the universe, the environment, and people around us. A  priest once said, upon being asked, "how can I love my neighbour when they are bad to me?" and the priest replied, "But the command is to 'love thy neighbour as thyself', so if you love yours...

How many times have you heard the expression, 'follow the light'? 'Follow the light' is an expression that is too often put out there, without explanation and you are expected to accept it. But how much easier will it be if some context is put to this? What is the light? What is the infinite path? If it is infinite, how can I reach the light? Let's unravel some of the mystery. What is 'the light'? The light, has many names. It is the source, the divine, God. It is from where we came, and to where we go. It is unimaginable. It is not simply sunlight, or white light, but a brilliance that is beyond our capacity to understand. Where is the light? The light is everywhere.
