The Zodiac Signs and the Wheel of the Year

Image
The Wheel of the Year marks the sun’s journey through the seasons, while the zodiac signs reflect the sun's progression through different constellations over the solar year. Both systems are cyclic and deeply symbolic of life's natural rhythms. Each zodiac sign represents a different energetic flavor aligned with the mood of the Earth at that time. Here is how they connect across the eight sabbats and the seasonal changes: Aries (March 21 – April 19) Wheel of the Year Connection: Ostara (Spring Equinox) occurs just as the sun enters Aries. Aries energy matches the spirit of rebirth, beginnings, and fresh growth . Ostara's themes of balance and renewal resonate with Aries' bold initiation energy, mirroring nature's burst into visible life. Taurus (April 20 – May 20) Wheel of the Year Connection: Taurus reigns during the fertile weeks after Ostara leading into Beltane . Beltane celebrates passion, fertility, and the sensual pleasures of lif...

It marks the first of the three traditional harvest festivals , followed by Mabon (Autumn Equinox) and Samhain. Rooted in Celtic and Anglo-Saxon traditions, Lammas is a time of gratitude, reflection, and sacred offering, deeply connected to the cycles of nature and the rhythms of the Earth. This festival celebrates the beginning of the harvest season , particularly the grain harvest. It is a time when the first fruits of the Earth are gathered and honored, symbolizing both physical sustenance and spiritual abundance. Origin and Cultural Roots The name Lammas comes from the Old English “hlaf-mas,” meaning “loaf mass,” a Christianized version of an older pagan tradition. People would bake bread from the first grains harvested and bring it to church or offer it in ritual as a symbol of gratitude for the boun...

Spiritually, this moon holds a powerful energy of sustenance and strength—reminding us of the resilience required to navigate the cycles of life. The spiritual meanings of the Sturgeon Moon are rich and multifaceted: Abundance and Gratitude : Like the plentiful sturgeon once ...

How to See Auras

Image
How to See Auras See an aura around a person takes practice. Be patient, and with practice you will pick up this ability. Sit quietly, facing someone else a few feet away from you and sitting at the same level as you. Make sure the room is quiet and calm and free from interruption. Be sitting comfortably, with the temperature of the room being right for you, so that you can relax and focus. Focus on your breathing. Breathe slowly for a few moments. Now stare at the person opposite you. Stare at their central chest area. Do not focus on them. Focus  through  them. Let your eyesight relax through them. Allow your peripheral vision to permeate into your field of vision. You will start to see colour around the person in front of you. It may be thin to start with, but as your clairvoyant ability increases, the colour may become thicker, brighter or more vivid.
