The Spiritual Truth About Time
Time is not Constant.
Time is the fourth dimension.
You have the regular three dimensions: height, width, depth, (and there are more, but for this explanation we'll stick with these), but these cannot exist without time. Without time there is no past, present or future. Without these, there is nothing of your present physical status.
But time is not constant. Let's use an analogy to explain this. It will sound bizarre to begin with, but it will make sense.
Analogy:
Imagine time as a bicycle. Now imagine this bicycle has a bag on the back which contains our whole physical presence, ie, the universe. As the bicycle moves forward, so too does the bag containing the universe. You are in the universe. You cannot see outside the universe. Everything within your universe continues at the same apparent speed. The clocks continue marking the time.
Now imagine the bicycle (time) slows down. So too does the bag. But you do not recognise it inside the universe inside the bag. The clocks continue to mark the time. But sometimes the same seconds seem to take longer. Have you ever noticed how time can drag?
Now imagine the bicycle (time) moves faster. Again, you are not able to recognise it within the universe. But the seconds seem to fly past. Have you ever noticed how time flies sometimes (as they say).
You are actually instinctively aware of the inconsistency of time, though your logical brain still continues to deny it, simply because you cannot measure or record it, because you are within time itself. In your physical realm, you travel with the flow of time. You are shackled to this flow. and the flow is not constant.
This applies to all universes and physical realms.
So what controls the flow of time? Humans cannot understand how. They do not have the capability. But they must trust that the flow is controlled by a higher power.
