The name ‘Azrael’ means ‘whom God helps’.

Archangel Azrael is the patron of religious leaders, clerics, priests and masters.

He assists with all human choices over transitions and changes, such as gender changes. He intervenes by offering both sides of every story, showing the outcome of each possible choice of path, and then allowing us to use freewill to make an informed choice of which path to follow.

When we reach a major crossroads in our lives, such as in career or relationships, and we have to make an important decision, Archangel Azrael is there to help us make the right choice to enable us to lead the best possible life.

Archangel Azrael has also been called the Angel of death, as he is tasked with the role of offering comfort, compassion and love at the moment of death. He acts as a bridge between the human world and the spirit world, assisting humans in transition from death to the afterlife.

He is known to be quiet, strong, patient and compassionate and will use these qualities to be there to offer guidance and healing to those who are left behind to grieve emotionally, surrounding them in a warm comforting white light.

He supports helpers, carers, healers and counsellors.
