Friendship Spell

To attract friendship:

You will need

A sunny day

A rug

A quiet space outside, where you can hear birds singing

A fresh yellow flower

Fresh bread

Sugar

One lemon

One candle

Lapis lazuli stone

Spell

Choose a sunny day and cast open your circle outside in a quiet space. Arrange your rug on the ground in the circle, so that you can sit down comfortably on it.

Make yourself as comfortable as you can in a sitting position.

Place the bread on the ground in front of you and the yellow flower above it on the ground.

Place the lemon to the left and the sugar to the right.

Sit quietly for a moment, in the sunshine, and breathe slowly, deeply.

Now cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice onto the bread.

Take the sugar and sprinkle a little on the bread.

This is the conduit of your spell. Now you must add intent.

Light your candle and place it in front of you.

Place the lapis lazuli stone next to the candle.

Take the yellow flower in your left hand and the bread in your right hand.

Now you must summon the Goddess Philotes. Do this by repeating the following:

Incantation

Goddess Philotes, I summon thee

Bring your presence here to me

Draw true friends towards my light

Let friendship thrive in day and night

Now close your eyes and take a bit from the bread. Chew it slowly, tasting the sweetness of the sugar and the bitterness of the lemon. Then put the flower to your nose and inhale the lovely scent.

Continue to eat and think about the goodness of friendship. Listen quietly to birds singing. Really listen to it, carefully. Enjoy it.

You should now have awakened your sense of taste, smell and listening.

Take a few minutes.

When you feel a strong sense of calm, you may open your eyes.

Now blow out the candle and close your circle.

To complete this ritual, close your eyes and say:
